If the car cannot be tuned sensibly, we will not charge you for a tune we cannot provide.
Refund Policy
Money back guarantee.
We do not offer a money back guarantee. We offer honest assessment, skilled tuning work and clear aftercare.
Some tuners advertise a money back guarantee. It sounds reassuring, but in vehicle tuning it can be more marketing than substance. A remap is not a boxed product being returned to a shelf. It is workshop time, diagnostics, calibration, testing and professional judgement applied to a specific vehicle.
Our position is simple. If we cannot tune your car, we will not bill you for a tune. If the vehicle is unsuitable, unsafe, faulted or not capable of achieving the requested result sensibly, we would rather tell you than force the job through.
If we apply a tune and you want it tweaked within the original specification you gave us, we will do that without charging again. That is part of proper aftercare. If the car needs a small adjustment to suit the agreed brief, we will support that.
If you drive the car for a few days and decide you would rather go to another tuner, that is your choice. But you paid for our time, skill, assessment and tuning work, not a promise that you will never change your mind afterwards.
What This Means
A clear policy is better than a vague promise.
Tweaks within the original agreed specification are covered as part of the job.
A new goal, new hardware, new fault or different tuning direction may require new chargeable work.
Mechanical, electrical, emissions, clutch, turbo, injector or maintenance faults are not free tuning corrections.
You are free to do that, but our completed workshop time and tuning work are still chargeable.
Our aftercare guarantee explains the independent engineer route for serious disputes.
Why We Do Not Use The Phrase
Money back guarantees can create the wrong expectation.
A tuning job should be sold on competence, process and honesty, not on a headline refund promise. A workshop can spend time checking a car, reading software, carrying out diagnostics, adjusting calibration, testing the result and supporting the customer afterwards. That work has value even if the customer later decides they want a different style of tune elsewhere.
We think some money back promises in the tuning trade are mostly there to win nervous customers. They can sound stronger than they really are, because the detail usually depends on exclusions, conditions, return visits and the difference between a genuine fault and a customer simply changing their mind.
Our approach is more direct: if we cannot do the job, we will not sell the job. If we do the job and it needs a reasonable adjustment within the original brief, we will support it. If the vehicle has an underlying issue, we will explain it. If you want a completely different outcome later, that is new work.
Linked Policy
This sits alongside our aftercare guarantee.
The money back position is not a refusal to support customers. It is the opposite: it keeps expectations clear. Our aftercare guarantee explains what happens if there is a problem after tuning, including return assessment, software fixes, vehicle fault reports and independent engineer inspection where needed.
